Our Story

Heigh Ho was born from a love of vintage equestrian items.

Every piece is carefully chosen for its character and craftsmanship, with a story to tell and plenty of life left to live. Here at Heigh Ho, second-hand isn’t second-best!

Heigh Ho offers a curated collection of quality items with character and durability. We are always happy to help you find the right piece to fit your lifestyle and personality, just drop us a message.

Meet Charlotte

Founder of Heigh Ho and lover of all things equestrian. She started in the Pony Club and has regularly taken part in British Dressage, British Eventing, British Show Jumping, showing, hunting and recently started learning side saddle. There isn't much she wont try!

She is surrounded by animals most of the time on the family smallholding and has a 6 year old daughter keeping her on her toes.

Meet Heigh Ho Lady

Heigh Ho is named after the one and only Heigh Ho Lady — the firecracker of a chestnut mare who lives for hunting. She will happily give anyone a lead over the biggest of hedges but never fails to stand stock still at the meet so Charlotte can enjoy her port without any spillages.

The head of a chestnut horse with a small white blaze wearing a hunter bridle with a plaited browband. The body of a rider seated on the horse wearing a black jacket can be seen in the background.
A black cob type horse with a large white blaze wearing a leather head collar and blue leg wraps standing in a field. There are cars and trailers parked in the background.

Meet Clononey Ruby

Affectionately known as Mawd, she is my sporty maxi cob — all power and presence. She’s built like a tank, full of personality, and loves going out to a party. She has been placed at HOYS and LIHS.

She doesn’t need plaits or sparkle to turn heads — just her glossy coat, kind eyes, and that unmistakable cob confidence.

Meet Buddy

Our resident mischief-maker and part-time sofa thief. Buddy may not know much about bridles or boots, but he’s got a nose for biscuits and a heart of gold. He keeps spirits high and feet warm — usually by lying on them.

He’s in charge of morale, muddy paw prints, and making sure we all take regular tea breaks.
