About Us

Our Story

Heigh Ho was born from a love of tradition, quality, and all things equestrian. It’s a celebration of timeless style — from well-worn tweed jackets and classic hunting attire to beautiful homeware and thoughtful accessories.

Every piece is carefully chosen for its character and craftsmanship, with a story to tell and plenty of life left to live. At Heigh Ho, second-hand isn’t second-best!

For those who cherish authentic country style and appreciate the charm of things with history, Heigh Ho offers a curated collection that feels like coming home. We are always happy to help you find the right piece to fit your lifestyle and personality.

Meet Charlotte

Founder of Heigh Ho and lover of all things equestrian. Charlotte started in Pony Club and has regularly competed at British Dressage, British Eventing, British Show Jumping, showing, hunting and recently started side saddle. There isn't much she wont try!

Away from the bustle of competition, Charlotte treasures the slower rhythms of country cottage life. She loves the seasons unfolding outside her door, the sound of horses in the fields, dogs by the fire, and the quiet comforts of rural living. Rooted in tradition and surrounded by animals, her life in the countryside reflects the values that guide Heigh Ho — timeless, authentic, and full of heart.

Meet Heigh Ho Lady

Heigh Ho is named after the one and only Heigh Ho Lady — Charlotte's firecracker of a chestnut mare who lives for hunting. She will happily give anyone a lead over the biggest of hedges but always stands stock still to make sure she never spills a drop of port. She isn't the most friendly to strangers, but loves her chosen friends.

Meet Clononey Ruby

Affectionately known as Mawd, she is Charlotte’s trusty maxi cob — all power and presence. She’s built like a tank, full of personality, and has a soft spot for carrots and attention. Whether she’s standing quietly in the lorry or striding into the ring like she owns it, Mawd is the picture of solid, no-fuss brilliance.

She doesn’t need plaits or sparkle to turn heads — just her glossy coat, kind eyes, and that unmistakable cob confidence. Dependable, bold, and just a little bit cheeky, she’s everything Charlotte loves about proper horses and country life.

Meet Buddy

Our resident mischief-maker and part-time sofa thief. Buddy may not know much about bridles or boots, but he’s got a nose for biscuits and a heart of gold. He keeps spirits high and feet warm — usually by lying on them.

He’s in charge of morale, muddy paw prints, and making sure we all take regular tea breaks.
